The ideal fleet size depends on the complexity, scale and viewing distance of the show. Simple logos and messages may require fewer drones, while detailed animations and 3D formations require a larger fleet. We recommend the right configuration after reviewing your creative idea and venue.
Most drone shows last between 8 and 12 minutes. The final duration depends on the number of scenes, music synchronization and the story being created for the event.

Where regulations, equipment and site conditions permit, specialized drone pyrotechnic effects may be considered. Every effect is subject to technical evaluation, permits and strict safety protocols.

The required launch and safety area depends on the fleet size, flight plan and venue conditions. We conduct a site assessment to confirm the launch zone, audience separation and clear airspace.
Shows are subject to weather limits established for safe operation. Wind, rain or electrical activity may require a delay, adjustment or rescheduling according to the approved weather contingency plan.
Requirements vary by location and event. Our team coordinates the necessary aviation, venue, municipal and safety documentation with the relevant authorities and production teams.
Most drone shows should be booked at least 20–30 days in advance to allow time for creative development, technical planning and permit processing. Required permits may take approximately 15 business days to be issued. In exceptional urgent cases, Firelab may be able to accommodate a show with as little as 10 days’ notice, subject to technical feasibility, permit timing and an additional rush fee.
